My Story
Garden, Gifts & Glass began as a simple dream, born from a deep love for plants, creativity and the untamed beauty of Far North Queensland.
Art found me before I found words for it. From childhood, through adversity and trauma, through loss and starting over. Creating things was always how I found my way back and I never stopped creating.
Seven years ago, after significant loss, I arrived in Cairns and this place became the beginning of something beautifully new. What started as a new life became a journey into growing things, making things, and the birth of Garden, Gifts & Glass.
Handcrafted terrariums, living sculptures, resin worlds, nature-based workshops and therapeutic wellness programs.
My own healing and growth happened alongside nearly 20 years of working with society's most vulnerable people - enabled me to confirm what I already innately knew.

Every plant in your terrarium started life right here in Far North Queensland — grown by me, never taken from the wild. Every piece of driftwood was found, not bought. The living moss grown in my greenhouse.
Not every element is locally sourced — but every single piece contains something that is. A river rock. A branch. Something real from this place is in everything I make, without exception.
Every resin piece, every natural sculpture, every hand painted botanical coaster and board — made by one pair of hands, in one studio, in Clifton Beach, Cairns.
FNQ works are inspired by the forests, rivers, wetlands and wildlife on our doorstep. Never rushed. Never replicated. Never mass produced.
The fantasy and magical pieces are inspired by the child that lives in all of us — the one that still believes in other worlds, in magic, in the possibility that something extraordinary might be hiding just out of sight.
This is not a factory. It's a creative practice built on many decades of creating and growing plants plus seven years of being beautifully remade by one of the most extraordinary places on earth.
Whether you purchase a piece or create your own in one of our workshops — you're not just owning something pretty. You're keeping a tiny piece of living magic, born either in my hands or your own.
My hope is simple — that wherever it lands, it brings joy, a little magic forever and it heals whatever needs to be healed.
