The Licuala Ramsayi — the Cairns fan palm — is one of Far North Queensland's most iconic endemic plants. These pieces begin with its leaf, hand drawn and then brought to life with raised hot glue veining that gives every piece a tactile, almost sculptural surface.
Sealed with resin for a deep, glass-like finish that catches light differently depending on where you're standing.
Each piece is unique — the drawing, the veining, the timber grain beneath all combine differently every time.
